This is a little ditty about a guy who refuses to wear a jacket, even when it’s freezing cold outside. And it’s funny because it’s true.
It doesn’t matter where you live, and how cold it gets in winter, there is always at least one guy (and it’s always a guy) who refuses to wear a jacket.
Maybe they run hot, and so don’t feel the cold quite as much as the rest of us. But the reason given in this song could equally be true.
Maybe the lesson here is for us to talk to the guy in shorts and a T-shirt in the middle of winter. Because perhaps he just needs a friend.
