Funny Swedish TV Ad for Learning English Video (NSFW)

24 sec read

The phrase “lost in translation” seems tailor-made for this Swedish advertisement.

An ordinary Swedish family buckles itself in for a drive. They turn on the radio and all groove to the funky music. Little do they know exactly what they’re grooving to! If anyone is in need of some English lessons, it’s these sweet Swedes!

It’s a very effective way to advertise English language lessons, but just so shocking. I’m amazed that this one got past the censors! Perhaps the Europeans really are more liberal than those of us in the rest of the world. At any rate, you might want to wait until you’re home from work to play this one!
