Gary Coleman Dead At 42 (Video) | Reveals Years Of Health Problems, Depression

Gary Coleman, best known for his role on the TV show Different Strokes, has passed away of a brain hemorrhage. He was on life-support for most of Friday and died instantly after being removed from it.

Gary had undergone numerous health problems in his life including seizures, depression, and kidney failure.

Though success in the television industry made him famous, he expressed his disdain for it in an interview once saying, “I would not give my first 15 years to my worst enemy.” Though he was earning millions a year, he filed for bankruptcy in 1999 due to mismanagement.

Being an 80’s baby, I’m too young to grasp how big Different Strokes was, but I do remember watching the re-runs as a kid. Coleman may have passed away, but the catch phrase “What you talkin bout Willis?” will probably never die.
