Hurricane Ike is a tropical cyclone that has hit Haiti, Dominican Republic, Cuba, and now the United States of America. It is the most intense storm so far in 2008.
The levels of damage and destruction it has left in its wake are impossible to calculate, but both the human and material waste is there for all to see.
But Hurricane Ike does have a lighter side. While it’s not killing people and destroying whole cities, it gives us the simple pleasure of being able to watch a reporter get blown over.
This Weather Channel reporter is an idiot for standing where he is, but his stupidity is good for us as it enables us all to laugh in the face of such an unpredictable and unstoppable natural force.
