Lost is a fantastic TV show, but it isn’t exactly renowned for its comedy elements, being an out and out drama punctuated very infrequently by anything funny. But that could all change if Sayid became a stand-up comedian.
This video shows what would happen if Sayid, the Iraqi torturer, tried his hand at making people laugh on stage. He fails spectacularly, mainly because he brings up people and events from the island and jokes about them.
The best bit has to be when he jokes “My mom’s so fat… Hurley.” Inspired. Hurley’s mom is fat, and so is Hurley. How the lottery-winning numbers freak hasn’t yet lost weight on the island, I’ll never understand.
