After a 5 year dry streak for the ladies, Kristi Yamaguchi finally proves that the voters aren’t just a bunch of celebrity-hungry teenage girls and she takes the crystal ball trophy.
It’s about time, and I would be in shock if she didn’t win this thing. I mean, Jason Taylor was surprisingly good (although I think Christian got as far as he did on sympathy votes), but she received three “9s” her first week out on the floor.
She was by and far the most talented celebrity out there when it came to dancing, and despite what people say, I think it had very little to do with her skating. I can dance, but put me in skates and forget about it.
