Les Miserables Movie Teaser Trailer Video | Anne Hathaway Sings ‘I Dreamed A Dream’

This is the first trailer for Les Miserables, a movie version of the classic musical. It stars Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, and Anne Hathaway.

People are already complaining about this movie, in particular Hathaway’s rendition of I Dreamed A Dream. Which I think is very unfair at this early stage.

I prefer her version to Susan Boyle’s. It’s more real, more in keeping with the story, more down to earth and gritty. It shouldn’t be pitch- or note-perfect as some seem to be suggesting.

This is a movie, a completely different medium than a stage play. I already know I want to see it brought to life, and this short teaser trailer was enough to persuade me.
