Die Antwoord is a musical group from South Africa that I’ve recently come to love. It wasn’t always this way, in fact, I wrote a post bashing their first music video ‘Enter The Ninja’ not too long ago.
If you had any doubts as to whether this group has any real talent, then you should check out this video. Be warned, as there are some sexually explicit themes.
Are they serious? Are they joking? Are they really touring? Those were just a few questions I had on my mind when I first heard about Die Antwoord. And the answer to all of them is yes- they are in fact a real group.
Before starting Die Antwoord, members of the group were actually in a bunch of local South African acts. After getting “really stoned” one day they decided to start Die Antwoord and it’s been success ever since.
