This is the official trailer for Halo 4, unveiled at E3 2011. It doesn’t show much, certainly in terms of storyline, but it shows enough to have elicited mania amongst the Halo fanboys. Of which there are many.
Alongside the Gears of War series, the Halo games incite mass hysteria by those who love each new title. At least on the Xbox 360. The PS3 and Wii each have their own exclusive series which cause pandemonium.
So you can imagine the excitement on display at E3 2011 when Microsoft announced, unveiled, and revealed Halo 4, a brand new adventure for Master Chief and company that’s coming in 2012.
Halo 4 is a slight gamble in that it’s the first full Halo title not developed by Bungie. That studio finished with Halo: Reach, and it has now fallen to 343 Industries to continue the good work they started. Will they succeed?
