We always knew that Oprah Winfrey’s final year on television would be big, but I don’t think anyone anticipated just how big. In the first episode of the season, Oprah surprised her audience with the news they’d be joining her in Australia.
Understandably the ladies went nuts, but then again these folks were thrilled at the thought of heading to Philadelphia.
As an Australian myself, I’m a little nervous at the thought of such hysterical women arriving on my doorstep. But I also realize this is the kind of exposure money can’t buy.
Just as Oprah’s favorite books become best sellers, expect Australia to be the next hot tourist destination.
