It would seem that the buzz on the internet surrounding Superbowl XLIII is not so much about the game but about the band Journey… and wondering when Steve Perry turned into a young man from Manila.
While quite a few people are saying Arnel Pineda’s singing voice comes nowhere near close to Steve Perry, I think it is pretty close. Besides, if he wants to make a name for himself, why would he want to be a Steve Perry clone anyway?
I think it is great that Journey is ‘back on the horse’ so to speak. I hope Pineda helps bring them a lot of success.
