This is the trailer for the new Rock of Ages movie. Rock of Ages is a musical set in 1987 which tells a love story set to a backdrop of 80s music. So if that was your era this is a must-see.
Tom Cruise stars, unfathomably. Ably assisted by Russel Brand, Catherine Zeta-Jones (who still can’t act to save her life), and Bryan Cranston.
Like most commenters, I really didn’t want to like Rock Of Ages. But I do. I really do. This trailer makes me want to go and see it now. Unfortunately it isn’t out until June.
I guess I should have seen this coming. Where music and musicals are concerned I lose my manly credibility and turn into some kind of metrosexual ladyboy. A little like Justin Bieber with muscles. Minus the fortune.
