Remember the Smurfs cartoon from the early eighties? It was one of my favorites. And now they’re making it into a live action movie! Okay, not really, but it would be pretty funny if they did.

This clip shows Saturday Night Live‘s take on what it would be like if a Smurfs movie was made. You know, with stars like Sean Connery and Al Pacino and a soundtrack by Celine Dion, this just might work.

Fair warning: If you speak Smurf, you might find the conversation between Smurfette and Hefty a little offensive. It’s a bit smurfographic, if you know what I mean.
