It seems that most people were surprised when the United States of America voted in Donald Trump as President. Not me, as I saw it coming a mile off.
However, we could all have been clued into what was about to happen if only we’d paid attention to The Simpsons way back in the year 2000.
As this video shows, The Simpsons predicted Donald Trump would become President. In an episode called “Bart to the Future”, Lisa Simpson was POTUS, having taken over from Donald Trump!
This is good news. Because it means even if you’re unhappy at the prospect of President Trump, you know President Simpson is coming down the pike. Lisa Simpson 2020!
