The Wire left a void in our viewing schedule when it left television screens in 2008. This Lego version doesn’t quite fill that hole, but it comes close.
The makers of this Lego clip don’t shy away from the aspects that made The Wire such a gritty drama series. There’s plenty of violence, although bricks don’t bleed the way humans do. The drugs flow freely, as do the expletives. I wouldn’t say it’s not safe for work, but you may want to turn down your speakers.
