This 6 year-old parody of Outkast’s “Hey Ya” was never released until recently. My guess as to why now probably has to do with the fact that “crackers” might get mad at some of the lyrics.
It reminds me a lot of some Chappelle Show skits- offensive, insightful, and hilarious.
While some in the blogosphere may categorize this clip as racist and offensive, it’s too bad that they can’t see the real message. The first time I saw this video I was laughing the entire time, but by the second viewing it occurred to me that it has some very dark undertones.
Chris Rock has always been great at coming up with funny skits and songs and this will clearly go down as one of his gems. It’s times like these when I really miss The Chris Rock Show.
