Harlem Shake is a particularly stupid and unfunny meme. While Gangnam Style was actually worthy of all the attention, Harlem Shake really isn’t. It’s crap.
However, having said that, this video is well worth watching. In fact, it’s the only Harlem Shake clip to make me laugh out loud.
This is actually an old video clip of a guy throwing a brick into the drum of a washing machine. The original was good, but now that it’s been augmented with the Harlem Shake it’s genius.
The timing is everything, with the washing machine starting to jump around just as the Harlem Shake chorus (of sorts) kicks in.
