“In response to a $50 million defamation suit filed against her by her former husband and alleged abuser Johnny Depp, 55, Amber Heard, 32, has submitted a new court filing which details horrific allegations of abuse she endured from the actor, and asked a judge to dismiss Depp’s lawsuit.
““Johnny Depp physically and verbally abused Amber Heard,” her attorney Eric George said in a statement, the AP reports.
““Since their divorce, Mr. Depp has continued to publicly harass Ms. Heard, and attempted to gaslight the world by denying his abuse. It is long past time for Mr. Depp’s despicable conduct to end.””
