Ariel Castro, who has very possibly become the most hated man alive right now, had his bail set at $8 million.
I don’t think anyone would have paid up for any amount of bail, but I think people can appreciate the symbolic gesture of the amount.
The details just keep getting worse and worse as the police have more time to talk to the victims. This is a horrible incident no matter how you look at it, but at least it came to a happy ending.
