“This marks the second official trailer for the film, and sheds even more light on the survival skills Croft will need to use in the movie.
“This version of Croft, played by Alicia Vikander, is based on Square Enix’s most recent entries in the game’s franchise, Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider. Everything from the outfits worn by Vikander to the environment she’s set to explore and aspects of the story the film will tell are based on those games.
“Warner Bros.’ adaptation will focus on a young, broke college student living in East London, whose life abruptly changes when she decides to seek out adventure by joining an archaeological mission to find a fabled tomb off the coast of Japan.”
