“Johnny Depp’s testimony in the libel lawsuit between the actor and ex-wife Amber Heard has come to a close.
“During court Monday, the jury heard an audio recording of an argument between Depp and Heard, in which Heard expresses frustration with Depp’s tendency to withdraw or “split” from their arguments to cool off.
“”How can I trust you that it will be a few minutes when you’ve done this in the past and disappeared for hours?,” Heard says in the recording.
“On the stand, Depp said he would do this to avoid escalation of their arguments, citing an incident in which Heard allegedly severed the tip of Depp’s finger.”
