Sad news for Oregon residents today as the body of missing woman Whitney Heichel was found and a suspect arrested for her murder.
She was on her way to work when she was taken, and family members are trying not to think about the terror she must have gone through in the last hours of her life.
Police found Heichel’s body on Larch Mountain, a 40-minute drive up winding roads from her home in Gresham, Ore.
This kind of thing really breaks your heart and my thoughts go out to the family – especially the parents and her husband. It’s a sad day when anyone’s life is taken by another person.
