Rosemary Clooney stars as Betty Haynes in the classic holiday film White Christmas, performing a true broken hearted song, Love, You Didn’t Do Right By Me.
This is one of my absolute, all-tim favourite movies. When I was a kid, I used to watch this movie at least once every Christmas – and usually more than once.
There is just something about the throaty voices and classic clothes that makes me adore movies from this era.
Of course, having a cast that includes Bing Crosby certainly doesn’t hurt, either.
And, just in case you are wondering, Rosemary Clooney is the aunt of actor George Clooney.
