We have been brought up to think that sharks are these incredibly dangerous and hostile species, but when it comes to humans versus sharks, humans are much more the bigger enemy.
There is no mistake that seeing a shark fin when you are out swimming can be a very scary experience, but you are not always in the level of danger you might think you are.
I don’t support throwing caution to the wind, but I hate how much sharks are being slaughtered out of fear or out of minimal food wants (shark fin soup, for example).
Scary or not, they are beautiful creatures.
