World Of Warcraft continues to provide video makers with a seemingly unlimited supply of inspiration and in game footage for countless videos. And here is another great one which made me laugh.
This YouTube offering shows some of the best movies ever but in World Of Warcraft mode. Basically, it’s a compilation video of real world film trailers turned in to World Of Warcraft Machinima shorts.
First we have Fight Club, then The Graduate, before the behemoth that is Star Wars, and the comedy dance sketch from Napoleon Dynamite.
Reading on, it seems that this is actually going to be made in to a full film, with theatrical release in cinemas… can this be true? I’m sensing a wind up, but it certainly looks authentic!
If this is true, and does get a full length release as a WoW movie mocking famous film scenes, I’ll definitely go and see it. If not, then the joke is on me, and I’ve just helped promote a joke.
