Who said Mondays suck? Today is a great day for any fan of the TV show ‘Weeds’ which comes back on the air tonight. To hype it’s fifth season, this promo was released that details a brief history of weed.

These facts may amaze you.

This 2-minute history lesson starts off at 2727 B.C and ends in present day. I’ve heard a lot of rumors about cannabis being used as by Queen Victoria and George Washington, but I had no idea that they were true!

The most surprising facts to me were was the one about the Ford’s Model T being run on hemp ethanol. No doubt, if cannabis was legalized, we’d open the door to a lot of practical uses for the plant other than just smoking it.

Of course there’s nothing wrong with that either.
