With the statistic quoted in the beginning of the video – 12% of United States newlyweds met online – quoting from 2005 marriage statistics, you can imagine what the numbers are like now.

While my husband and I didn’t meet on a matchmaking website, we did meet online. We met in person a year later and were married seven months after that.

I think the internet is an excellent thing for people who want a relationship. True, we hear the horror stories, but there are chances out there for true romance.

You just have to make sure you truly represent yourself as you actually are, and half the battle is done.
