Kinetic sculptor Dale Jansen is an undeniable genius and modern day DaVinci. He is an inventor and artist, but most importantly he is a dreamer.

This short interview with him highlights some of his amazing wind-powered moving sculptures which look more like gigantic wooden colossi or some other type of fanciful creature.

It seems four-year-olds with math troubles aren’t the only ones confused about what constitutes an emergency. This video features audio of real 911 calls made by adults who really should know better.

These callers expect the emergency services to solve all manner of problems, from frozen windshields to disagreements with taco vendors. I could forgive the kid in the earlier video, but there’s really no excuse for these folks.

For good measure, this video also includes some hilarious footage of actual run-ins with the police. I particularly like the hippie-sounding gentleman who’s convinced he should be able to play his car stereo loudly because he doesn’t listen to rap music.

Planet Earth, a newer TV series, highlights the many delicate ecosystems that comprise our planet, and has some of the most incredible footage of nature’s power, monstrosity and grace.

This series was 5 years in the making, just sending videographers all over the country to sit for hours, and days, just to capture a 30 second moment in time.

This video clip featuring Great White Sharks attacking its primary prey, seals, showcases the creature’s incredible strength and ferocity.

No matter how bad your day has been it’s not likely that you’ve got it worse than the poor sap in this clip. Imagine feeling as if you’re on top of the world. You’re near the finish line in a bicycle race.

A giddy feeling begins to billow up in your belly causing you to rejoice, and raise your arms in victory. Then, you fall of your bicycle.

Ah David Lynch, the highly imaginative artist, director, and weirdo extraordinaire who delivered a host of cinematic mind-fucks in the 90’s and late 80’s, including Blue Velvet and Twin Peaks, has changed his focus. He is now doing bizarre cartoons that somehow leave one feeling silly and uncomfortable at the same time.

If you’re a fan of David Lynch, or are at least curious about what feeling silly and uncomfortable at the same time feels like, watch this clip. The total run time is about 25 minutes, but it’s separated into six segments that last only a few minutes apiece.

The first segment revolves around a conversation between two neighbors talking over a fence. It’s sounds normal enough, but it’s David Lynch. Of course it’s going to manifest into something laughably weird.

Wouldn’t it be cool to ride across the country on two wheels, with the wind in your hair and nothing but the open road… on a scooter that tops out at 29 miles per hour? I didn’t think so either. But these guys do.

This video catches them at the beginning of their trip. They’re pretty psyched about it, and hit the road with plenty of enthusiasm. But by the end of this first installment, they’re already running into trouble. And they’ve still got a really long way to go.

Whoever said that panda bears are not smart creatures needs to learn from this video. These pandas are clever and oh so cute.

While only a couple of zoo goers are watching, one panda gives the other a boost. Watch as the panda bear slides out of its “cell” through a small window. You have to wonder how they communicated their ingenious plan to each other.

The panda that’s left looks lonely and tries in vain to reach the small opening that its buddy just escaped through. But, as the commentary tells us, he’s a little too large to fit through the tiny window. Poor guy.

Spanking the monkey, flogging the dolphin, stroking the kitty; ever wonder where these common masturbatory phrases come from? I used to think some thirty-year-old adolescent coined them while sitting in his garage and swilling beer with his buddies, but after watching this clip I’m not so sure.

The one thing I am sure of; if we look even half as ridiculous as these animals do when we pull one off there ought to be a law against video taping it.

I’ve got four words for you, Elephantitis of the nuts. That’s right, it’s not a myth, not a plot device in some crude comedy. This clip is for real, and it’s far worse than you can imagine.

I have personally thought of swallowing drain cleaner four times since seeing it, and I’m sharing it with you because the horror is too much for one man to bear alone.

The baby boy in this video is bound and determined not to fall asleep. I don’t know what he’s watching on TV, but it must be really interesting to warrant all that effort to stay awake.
