3 How-To video sites quickly compared

How To Video SitesWhen the internet was first born it quickly became a tremendous resource for learning how to do things. Now that video on the web is exploding the internet is now beginning to offer video guides for a huge range of tasks. For example, you could learn some Pool trick shots, how to build a surf board rack, or even how to shoot an arrow through a women!

Currently there are three leading websites which specialize in providing how-to and instructional videos.

The 3 How-To video sites:

  1. Expert Village – This is the best how-to video site in my opinion. ExpertVillage is packed with instructional videos on a variety of subjects which are organized into individual video series by author.
  1. JumpStartTV – JumpStartTV really lacks a solid library of videos, although it is slowly growing. The videos themselves are professional but there just aren’t enough of them. You also can’t embed videos in external websites which is a pain for anyone with a website that wants to talk about a video on JumpStartTV.
  1. Video Jug – This has plenty of videos, although it doesn’t appear to be as many as ExpertVillage. It’s an all round good site with professional instructional videos on a variety of subjects but lacks the organization that ExpertVillage has.

Overall Expert Village is the winner, but the others are definitely worth looking at as you never know what you will find.
