All sympathy I had for Arturo Gatti’s wife yesterday has disappeared as Brazilian officials have arrested Amanda Rodrigues and plan to charge her.

It looks like this was a crime of passion or, at the least, not thought out very well, as Amanda Rodrigues couldn’t think of a reason why should would not notice her husband was dead – for ten hours.

What the heck gets into your mind when you are only 23 years old that you could go and kill someone – especially your husband?

As we wait to hear exactly which crime she will be charged with, I wonder what will happen to their poor child.
