A couple of months ago I found a video of Joe Jackson and Todd Rundgren teaming up for a version of My Guitar Gently Weeps. At the time I declared that it doesn’t get much better than this. Apparently it does.

Here we have Aussie guitar legend Tommy Emmanuel joining Hawaiian ukulele virtuoso for a brilliant take on the same Beatles classic. It starts off with a quiet beauty before building to a stunning strumming crescendo.

These guys are both amazing, but they never let their egos get in the way. Instead they work together as equals for a truly spellbinding result. I am wowed.
