This is the American Idol Season Five audition video for Paula Goodspeed. Ms. Goodspeed’s body was found in her car, parked outside Paula Abdul’s house on Tuesday, having apparently committed suicide.

While we can’t (yet? possible never?) know the full reasons why Paula Goodspeed committed suicide, she wasn’t shy about admitting her celebrity crush on Paula Abdul. What was thought of as ‘puppy love’ apparently ran much deeper…

It appears to be a suicide by overdose.

This makes me so incredibly sad. Goodspeed vowed to keep on singing even though the judges didn’t like her voice, and yet…
