According to news reports, the Tonight Show host, Jay Leno, checked himself into the hospital with an undisclosed illness that his publicist will only describe as ‘mild’.
I certainly hope he is okay and doesn’t have to be in the hospital for long, but the more shocking news for me came at the end of the report.

I bet other late show hosts are rubbing their hands together in glee, even though the report stated that Leno will be moving on to another show. That’s kind of sad. Like the end of an era.
