The 2008 Beijing Olympics will be starting in a matter of hours from now and the world is buzzing with anticipation.

The talented folks at BBC Sport made this animated advert with references to the very popular book, manga, show and much more Journey to the West: The Legend of the Monkey King.

When I came to Australia, I was fortunate enough to know someone who had the DVD box sets for all the Monkey series and have watched most of them. If you haven’t read it/watched it/heard of it, I highly recommend you do so.
