Whenever a new Obama song comes out, chances are the only place it gets played is the internet. When YouTube rapper A.P.T. re-made Lil Wayne’s song “A Milli” into “Obama Obama” he had no idea how big it was going to be.

The song has already been played on numerous radio stations across the country.

Now, it’s not like this little re-make is getting heavy rotation, but it certainly is the latest buzz on morning shows across the United States. Especially in cities like Atlanta, GA where hip-hop is widespread.

As a resident of Atlanta myself, I too was pleasantly surprised when I heard the hook “Obama Obama” on my local radio station V-103. Some lines are witty while others are just plain lame (”And I’d rather eat a field mouse/ Than to see John McCain in the White House”).

I wouldn’t call it Grammy material, but still worth a listen or two. Still, rapper A.P.T. insists, “If your radio station isn’t playing the song yet… they’re FAR behind!!”
