YouTube has brought us many things: adorable animal antics, stupid criminals, the recent return of the Muppets, and incredible undiscovered musical talent. Falling into the latter category, I bring you Scott Dunbar.
Scott is a humble busker, a street performer who creates an incredible sound with just a piano accordion and make-shift drum suitcase. From this humble base Scott gives an incredible performance of Michael Jackson’s hit “Billie Jean.”
Scott reminds me a lot of Australian singer John Butler. There’s that same rootsy vibe and honesty to his delivery.
Something tells me it’s only a matter of time before Scott’s plucked from the streets and shipped off to a record studio. Goodness I hope so!
