Beijing 2008 Olympic Games – Human Puppet Edition Video | Better Than Matrix Ping Pong?

The Olympic Games are currently taking place in Beijing, China, and we are all being amazed by the levels of athletic achievement on show.

Be it Michael Phelps achieving 8 gold medals in one Olympics, or Usain Bolt smashing the 100m sprint world record with ease, the sheer excitement of the Games is phenomenal.

So how could you possibly recreate that on stage?

This Japanese human puppetry show does it spectacularly well, having one man as the athlete participating in a whole host of different Olympic sports.

If you watch it while ignoring the guys in black (ninja) suits doing all the work then it’s a pretty amazing thing to watch. It may even be better than the Matrix Ping Pong match.
