Being a soldier has got to be one of the hardest jobs in the world. It’s dangerous, with many never coming home, and you’re away from home for months at a time.

So it’s to be expected that some army platoons will try to liven up their days a bit by having some fun. This is the best example I’ve yet seen, a company of the British army performing YMCA by The Village People.

It says at the start of the video that the company is a gay one, but I don’t know if that’s a joke or not. Regardless though, these guys camp it up with the best of them.

This looks it is filmed in Afghanistan, and if it is, I’m not surprised the hard-line Islamic Taliban aren’t very happy with who the British sent over. Me personally, I think they rock!
