Cats are surely nimble and quick animals, with fast reflexes, agility and keen eye sight; but I never knew a cat could actually jump seven feet into the air from a total standstill.
This definitely looks like a cat from the wild breed variety, and he amazingly can jump up to seven feet without much effort at all. That is so impressive that he would actually put any NBA all-star to shame.
I was lucky to get 3 feet off the ground, with a lot of training and a good running start. And that was back in my heyday. I’d be happy to get over a foot these days.
There is probably no keeping this cat off your high spaces, or trying to hide things from him up there, as he will have no problem whatsoever getting to it.
