Genuis Child

When I was growing up I always wondered how cool it would be to be older. Looking back, I realize that it isn’t your age that matters, it’s what you do that counts. And these 5 kids are prime examples of that. They aren’t just cute, they’re extremely talented too. Each has their own special ability that rivals the skills of any adult.

None of them are over the age of ten, yet I guarantee you’ll be dropping your jaw when you see them playing pool or jamming on the guitar. After viewing these videos you’ll come to the sad, but true, realization that mommy lied when she said you were “special”.

Rubik’s Cube Kid

This 6 year old may not be able to multiply numbers, but he’s able to solve a 3×3×3 Rubik’s cube faster than anyone I’ve seen. Little Chun Hoo Ulf Wong can solve the puzzle in a stunning 37.89 seconds. Imagine if he had bigger hands!

Yeah, I know the Super Bowl just passed (I personally thought the Ads were more exciting), but a video like this puts the original game of football back in the spotlight; or what we in America like to call soccer.

Combine elements of la parkour (free running) and some mad soccer skills and you’ve got an insanely good video. These guys are good…almost too good.

At first glance, this video seems pretty average. So he faked out the goalie and scored a penalty kick, so what. It’s been done before right?

Actually, not like this.

Jeju Island, South Korea is known for two things: Volcanoes and Boy Cheerleading teams. As strange as the latter one may sound, the cheerleading teams are quite different than the usual.

Maybe you’ve gone to a game where crazy fans paint their body with giant letters or hold up large signs to spell out messages. Here, these cheerleaders accomplish so much more, only they put those old fashion techniques to shame.

Goaltube - Trying To Be YouTube Just For Soccer Fans And Failing MiserablyGoaltube.net (not to be confused with .org) is a site I found on Digg yesterday, which in the submission described itself as a “sports portal”.

Erm no, it’s not, it’s a site which takes content direct from YouTube, adds nothing to it, and tries to get traffic for nothing.

I clicked on the site because the idea of a sports portal built around YouTube videos is a good one, and appeals to me. But this isn’t that, and has more problems than I can even begin to describe.

Manchester United are one of the most famous football (or soccer if you’re that way inclined) clubs in the world. They’ve had legends such as David Beckham, Ryan Giggs and George Best play for them … and now they have Rhain Davis!

If you’re asking yourself “Who is he?” then I would say watch the video and you will soon get a taster of his prowess and skills on and off the ball.

Rhain Davis is a nine-year-old Australian kid (with a British passport) who was signed by Manchester United a few weeks ago purely on the strength of the YouTube video posted above.

I enjoy a good game of football, but my biggest problem with it is this: there never seems to be enough goals scored.

That’s not because I enjoy the goals so much, although whenever my team scores I won’t complain. No, my favorite part is the post-goal celebration, and the wackier the better.

This video pays homage to some of the best of the bunch. These soccer players back flip, they boogie, they bounce, and they even pretend to bullfight. Some of these athletes could put professional acrobats to shame with their uninhibited performances.

It takes something special to bring the swarming streets of Tokyo to a standstill, and an amazing Adidas billboard has done just that. Pedestrians below watched awestruck as two men enjoyed a game of soccer on the live action advertisement.

Proving the sports label’s slogan that “Impossible is Nothing,” the men play an impressive one-on-one game high above the city streets. The players, suspended by bungee cords, kick around the football that is tethered between them.

It’s certainly spectacular, but you can’t help wondering whether the captivated crowd is truly fascinated by the game, or just waiting to see how secure those bungee cords really are.

This video shows why these Spanish soccer stars are paid to use their feet, rather than their fists. It features a fight between Real Zaragoza defender Carlos Diogo and Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano.

The men slap wildly in the air, looking more like teenage girls than elite athletes. As a matter of fact, I’m sure I saw better fighting skills from some of the skankier girls in my high school years.
