Chris Brown is back, with his first new release since he beat Rihanna up and she left him. Unsurprisingly. The song is called I Can Transform Ya and it features Lil’ Wayne and Swiss Beatz.

I was never a fan of Chris Brown and when he then admitted to assaulting his girlfriend Rihanna I lost the last little piece of respect I had for him. Which wasn’t much to begin with if I’m honest.

With that in mind, it’s no surprise that I don’t like this song or video. The track itself is dull, repetitive and doesn’t stand out from the rest of the R’n'B dross already filling the charts.

The video is a little more creative and consequently more entertaining. But I doubt it’ll win any awards. If there is any justice then this will sell badly and destroy Brown’s career, but I wouldn’t bet on that happening. Unfortunately.
