The Muppet Show had some awesome guests and really cool moments in its time. Here’s one of the highlights: Peter Sellars educating the Muppets (and kids) about cigarettes, whiskey and wild, wild women. Huh?

The Muppet Show audience was a little young to be hearing about such things, much less understand what on earth they were talking about. Then again, you’ve got to get to them young these days. I guess maybe they were just ahead of their time.

At any rate, it’s pretty amusing. Heck, I never even knew there was a whole song to that. I thought they just made up the chorus for Desert Heat.
