The above clip is taken from the TV show Brainiac in which professional experiments are done. If you ever find yourself with an ostrich egg and a microwave don’t try this at home.

Unless, of course, you want a broken microwave.

At first, I admit, I was extremely impressed by this video. The scientific explanation was believable, however, after a few minutes of further research, I have concluded that this video is a fake. In fact, Brainiac has done this countless times before with less believable items.

The real reason for them saying “don’t try this at home” is because it doesn’t work.
