Now here’s a combination you don’t see every day. Firstly we’ve got an adorable cat. I’m a sucker for a furry feline, so this isn’t so unusual. But put him with a theremin and we’ve got something really different.

For those of you who don’t know, a theremin is a unique musical instrument which is played without actually being touched. Instead you control the pitch by moving your hands around the rod.

This clever kitty seems to love it, even getting up on his back legs to hit just the right notes. Now I admit it, he’s not very musical, but I couldn’t resist the novelty factor.

This tone-deaf theremin-playing kitty is cool enough, but I also love his fluffy friend. After the performance the camera pans to catch his bewildered little face. So cute!
