Member of the “First Family of Taekwondo”, Diana Lopez joins her brothers Mark and Steven in being the first set of three siblings to compete on the same Olympic team in the same sport since 1904.

And just because that wasn’t quite enough, their older brother Jean coaches all three of them.

Just barely missing Olympic qualification for Athens, Diana is ready to take Beijing by storm. Since Athens, she has won gold at the World Taekwondo Championships in 2005.

Athletics isn’t everything for Diana, though, who would someday like to get a master’s degree in education and teach elementary school.
