Drake, real name Aubrey Drake Graham (no wonder he goes just by Drake) is an actor and MC from Canada. He’s signed to Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment record label, and was performing on the America’s Most Wanted Tour when he had a little accident.
Drake already had an injured knee but carried on performing regardless. Which was fine, although it went against his doctor’s orders. And it was fine until he slipped while jogging across the stage and fell on his arse.
I know you shouldn’t laugh at someone’s misfortune but there are clearly two very funny things on display here. The first being his trousers having fallen down while he was lifted and helped off stage; the second being that the music carried on regardless, proving he’d been lip syncing all along.
Drake is fine, since stating that he’s now walking around. But he is facing surgery this week for the original injured knee. I’m sure we all wish him a speedy recovery but his slip was funny regardless.
