Starting this week, MTV and HP have teamed up to find the best digital artists in the world.

Teams from Europe, Asia, North America, and Latin America all face off in New York City for fame and the $400,000 grand prize.

Screen

The show is hosted by SuChin Pak (the most recognizable Asian on MTV) and airs in webisodes less than 10 minutes long each week. You can clearly make out the HP sponsorship due to the fact that all the gear used is made by the company.

Interaction

Those who have digital art talents will find the show even more appealing with the soon-to-be How-To video section and weekly contests for various HP gear. Browse the teams’ portfolios and even upload your own to share.

Webisode 1

In this first episode, each member of each team is introduced and their portfolio’s are highlighted. Then SuChin tells them their first challenge. I’d say the closest thing to this on TV would be “Project Runway.”
