We all know the wives and children of soldiers miss them desperately while they’re serving on the front line, but what about the furriest members of the family? As this video shows, fur babies might miss their masters most of all.

These two dachshund pups fall over themselves when their owner returns from war. There are tummies to be scratched and faces to be licked and love to be expressed through enthusiastic barks!

On Veterans Day, my thoughts are with the brave men and women still fighting for our freedom. May they all receive such an enthusiastic greeting upon their return.
