An American backyard isn’t the place to find a spider monkey, especially one as out of shape as this chunky monkey.

But it seems this is no ordinary spider monkey. He’s a pet called Clyde with an appetite for Little Debbies and Italian food.

Personally, if my monkey ever started to look like this I’d stop feeding him those fattening foods he enjoys so much. And maybe I’d buy him a treadmill. Or I might enlist Bob and Jillian to whip him into shape Biggest Loser style!

Clive might be awfully cute, especially when he waddles. But surely he’s a monkey heart attack waiting to happen!
