I must confess I watched the whole of the first 2012 presidential debate between President Obama and Candidate Romney. Because I strangely have more interest in U.S. politics than British politics.

But you don’t have to sit through the hours of back-and-forth, as someone has kindly condensed the debate down to just two minutes worth of platitudes and half-truths.

As a foreigner looking on from afar I felt Obama had won the debate, but all of the polls and political commentators disagree. I’m afraid I can’t look past the fact that Romney is so robotic. At least Obama is human.

There are two more presidential debate to go, as well as one vice-presidential debate. All of them should be entertaining to a point, especially as Obama needs to up his game next time around.
